Healthcare Marketing
Rogue Design Group specializes in healthcare marketing. Over the years, we’ve worked for three hospitals and numerous medical practices.
Hematology Oncology Associates
The physicians at Hematology Oncology Associates specialize in treating cancer and blood disorders. New patients to the practice are generally are older and sometimes quite sick. HOA’s mission is to support these patients and their families through the challenges ahead.
The practice hired Rogue Design Group to create a logo, website, and patient education materials to better inform and prepare patients as they embark on a difficult journey. There were three strategic objectives in the design process:
- Show compassion
- Offer clear, concise information on how best to deal with significant medical, emotional, and financial issues
- Be easy to use for older adults

Medical Eye Center
Founded in 1911, Medical Eye Center is the largest eye care practice in Oregon. They had a logo that was generic and forgettable. We changed that with a distinctive brand identity, then followed-up with marketing solutions that promote the doctors as regional experts in ophthalmology. We’ve helped Medical Eye Center achieve the following goals:
- Generate new leads
- Increase referrals rates
- Maximize revenue from current patients
- Improve staff efficiency
We collaborated on strategy and were responsible for all advertising, signage, and printing. Using a multiple domain strategy, we designed four websites—for General Eye Care, LASIK, Retina Care, and the Renew Medical Spa.

Letter of Recommendation
To whom it may concern,
I want to tell you how pleased I am with the working relationship we have with Rogue Design Group. They’ve designed all our advertising, collateral materials, logos, and signage. While we mostly use print and radio, they’ve also done some excellent television work. Here’s how I describe Rogue Design Group:
First, they listen to what we want—and then do that. It’s very simple. They provide their viewpoint if they think an approach can be improved in their judgment, but they do not become rigid about it. Second, they have integrity. We have many projects and deadlines. If something isn’t what we originally agreed to, they handle changes without making excuses or arguing. Deadlines are met. Bids are honored. I never have to worry about surprises. Third, they are talented. They can take projects from a vague idea to a beautiful, effective product. Designs are clean, attractive, and have simple, compelling messages. Fourth, they understand money is precious and will work within budgets to maximize impact from the available resources. Okay, and there’s a fifth point. They are genuinely nice people who are fun to work with.
We routinely receive compliments from patients about our logo and signage. Our medical team appreciates the professional image we portray, and our marketing staff is more efficient due to this relationship.
In short, I’m thrilled with what we have accomplished together—and I think you will be too.
